The DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) Scholarship is one of the most sought-after opportunities for Pakistani students who want to pursue postgraduate studies in Germany. Known globally for funding Master’s and PhD programs, DAAD is supported by the German government and is open to students from developing countries, including Pakistan.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  • ​Must be a Pakistani national.
  • For Master’s: 16 years of education (Bachelor’s).
  • For PhD: 18 years of education (Master’s/MPhil/MS).
  • Degree must be completed within the last 6 years.
  • At least 2 years of professional/research experience (required for some DAAD programs).
  • IELTS/TOEFL for English-taught programs.
  • German proficiency for German-taught programs (TestDaF/DSH).
